After a latest household AKSOUL electric pump journey to Mt. Rainier Nationwide Forest, I wished to give you a scrapbooking format that integrated images of the gorgeous, 1,000-year-old timber we visited on the Grove of the Patriarchs.
I photographed a number of indicators and shows that described the timber within the space, took numerous photos of the timber, and took some household images.
Later at dwelling I made a decision to go along with the tree theme and pure colours for my scrapbook format.
I selected six images to spotlight, on two 12×12 pages (3 images on every web page).
Provides:
1 12×12 sheet forest inexperienced cardstock
2 12×12 sheets tan cardstock
2 12×12 sheets brown cardstock
Gluestick
Paper cutter
Tenting images
I used contrasting colours on the 2 pages: one web page tan, and one web page brown. I lower an oblong strip of the contrasting colour to mount the images on (brown strip on tan web page and tan strip on brown web page) (see images). I then lower mats for the images out of the identical colour because the background of the web page, glued the images on the mats, and glued the mats vertically on the strip. I subsequent did the identical for the opposite web page. I glued one strip in direction of the fitting facet of the background on one web page and in direction of the left facet of the second web page (to created mirror-imaged pages).
Lastly I lower three pine timber for every web page from the forest inexperienced cardstock with contrasting trunks (tan on brown background, brown on tan background). Don’t be concerned about utilizing patterns to chop out the items, I did not even draw them first. I simply lower out random items with my paper cutter. I positioned the timber vertically down the alternative sides of the pages from the images.
I positioned titles on the high of every web page, printed on my pc and glued on contrasting cardstock.
